Bir Kar kava is a prized and rare “bush” cultivar.
Nommé d'après l'apparence de couleur rouge (plutôt) des tiges (le mot "kar" signifie rouge), ce cultivar est né au cœur de l'île avec la végétation luxuriante d'Espiritu Santo (Vanuatu). C'est aussi le seul endroit du monde où le kava est actuellement cultivé et très apprécié des communautés locales.

In order to present this plant in its full glory, we are offering it at the natural ratio of around 70-80% stump to 20-30% lateral roots. This is how nature made it and we think she did a pretty good job.
These roots were processed directly from freshly harvested kava. They are meticulously cleaned and carefully dried in a temperature controlled dehydrator that locks in as much potency and freshness as possible.
